Jonathan Schoop Tallies Three Hits On Thursday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Jonathan Schoop helped the team put together a strong offensive performance on Thursday, but it wasn't enough as the team fell 13-10 to the Los Angeles Angels. He went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in the game. Schoop has managed just one home run since July 18, but he's continued to produce in other areas over the past month. Through 16 games this month, he's slashed .313/.352/.433 with five doubles and nine runs. With his power numbers subsiding lately, he isn't a must-start player at this point, but he's still at the very least a worthy starter in most formats.
