Jarvis Landry Has Strong Performance In Practice
3 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry had a stellar showing against the Giants in practice on Thursday. The slot receiver hauled in a breathtaking one-handed catch and "destroyed" the opposing secondary. Landry is a solid receiver that fantasy managers can rely on for consistent production. That being said, the 28-year-old won't be deliberately featured too much in a run-heavy offense led by running backs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Even with wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. out for most of 2020, Landry still primarily lined up in the slot at a clip of 60 percent and had a disappointing 8.3 average depth of target. Especially in PPR leagues, the former Dolphin can suffice as a safe, late-round filler, but he doesn't possess much upside.
