Brian Anderson Cranks A Three-Run Homer On Saturday
3 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Brian Anderson smashed a three-run home run in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Chicago Cubs. Anderson went 1-for-4 with a run scored and four RBI. His blast came with two on and two out in the sixth inning and counted for the first three runs the Marlins scored on the day. Anderson has mostly struggled since returning from an extended stay on the injured list due to an oblique injury, but he has had some short hot streaks along the way. Perhaps this will be the start of what can extend into a longer streak. For now, Anderson is batting .254 with a .715 OPS, six home runs, and 23 RBI.
