Kenley Jansen Is Unavailable On Saturday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen is unavailable to pitch out of the bullpen for Saturday's game against the New York Mets. Jansen has pitched to a 2.91 ERA, a 3.61 FIP, 56 strikeouts, 30 walks, and 23 saves in 46.1 innings this season. He previously threw a scoreless inning on Thursday against the Philadelphia Phillies and worked two innings on Friday against the New York Mets. Fellow relievers Blake Treinen and Brusdar Graterol are also unavailable. With both Jansen and Treinen not pitching tonight, Corey Knebel could be a candidate to pitch in a potential save situation for the Dodgers. The 29-year-old has struck out 13 batters in 7.2 innings this season while also giving up four walks and three runs. He's worth a look for fantasy managers looking for streaming options in the bullpen on Saturday.
