Mike Zunino Homers Again On Thursday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays catcher Mike Zunino went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run during Thursday's 8-1 win over the Boston Red Sox. He blasted a three-run off Yacksel Rio in the top of the eighth inning to extend the Rays lead 8-1. The long ball traveled 432 feet with an exit velocity of 112.2 MPH. Zunino has homered in back-to-back games. The 30-year-old is slashing .204/.296/.536 with 23 home runs, 44 RBI, and 44 runs scored across 267 plate appearances in 2021.
