Andy Isabella Likely Out For First Preseason Game
3 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver Andy Isabella will likely miss the first preseason game for the Cardinals due to being in COVID-19 protocol. This would have been a golden opportunity for Isabella to show his value with A.J. Green out, as well as DeAndre Hopkins nursing a "minor injury." Isabella has shown signs of a potential breakout season if given the opportunity. Last season, he had 21 receptions, 224 yards, and two touchdowns. On Arizona's current depth chart, Hopkins is the undisputed WR1, followed by A.J. Green and Christian Kirk, as expected. Isabella is behind Kirk in the WR3 category. If he plays games 2 and 3 of the preseason, with Hopkins and Green remaining out, he could move up the depth chart if he is able to prove himself.
