Tyler Wade Collects A Pair Of Doubles, Stolen Bases In Win
3 years agoNew York Yankees infielder/outfielder Tyler Wade went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, two stolen bases, and a walk in Wednesday's win over the Royals. Wade doubled and stole third in the fourth inning, promptly scoring on the ensuing play. He later walked and collected another two-bagger as well as a swiped bag. Wade is on fire at the dish, with six hits, four runs scored, and three stolen bases in his last three games. The versatile fielder has started each of the last two contests at third but could also see time at short with both Gleyber Torres (thumb) and Gio Urshela (hamstring) sidelined. Wade is worth picking up while he's hot by roto or category league managers in need of steals.
