Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 NFL Preseason kicked off with the Hall of Fame Game last week and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NFL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NFL, Single Stat consists of quarterback passing yards, running back rushing yards, and wide receiver receiving yards in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Tonight, we will look at a mixture of plays for Week 1 of the NFL Preseason.

Fantasy Score and Single Stat NFLP Totals
Ryan Fitzpatrick over 3.4 fantasy points - Fitzpatrick has come into the Washington Football Team's camp as the presumed starter by all fantasy pundits, but Ron Rivera has made it clear multiple times that Fitzpatrick will be competing with both Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen for the starting job. This may mean that Fitzpatrick could play two series in this game as opposed to the typical one, which is why I lean toward the over 3.4 fantasy points here. The Patriots had a strong pass defense in 2020 as they ranked 11th in the league in terms of yards allowed per game, but all Fitz needs to do in this one is toss a score to get over this threshold and that is something he will definitely be striving for if he is competing for the number one spot. He has also been known to use his legs a bit as he did rush for 151 yards in 2020 as well.
Mason Rudolph over 4.9 fantasy score - There is no debating who the starting quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers will be this season as Ben Roethlisberger will man that position almost unquestionably. That tells me that Mason Rudolph should see plenty of action in this game against an Eagles defense that allowed nearly 18 fantasy points per game to the quarterback position in 2020. Rudolph should be able to cruise over this total.
Chase Claypool under 4.2 fantasy points - Claypool is listed as the third wide receiver on the Steelers' depth chart and likely will not see a ton of action, especially after he appeared somewhat hurt after a long catch in the Hall of Fame Game against Dallas last week. He would need to make multiple catches, score, or haul in a long pass in order to achieve this goal, and I am willing to bet they take it easy with him after last week's scare.
Jonathan Williams over 24.5 rushing yards - Williams recently signed a reserve contract with the Washington Football Team and there is a good chance they will want to see what he can do in order to determine if he is worth keeping around this season. Therefore, we could expect him to see a decent amount of work in the second half of this game and that could be good news as the Patriots allowed running backs to rush for nearly 104 yards per game in 2020, which ranked seventh-worst in the league. If he gets a decent workload, he should be able to get over this mark.
