Jose Devers Undergoes Shoulder Surgery
3 years agoMiami Marlins infielder Jose Devers (shoulder) underwent season-ending shoulder surgery to repair a posterior labrum tear in his right shoulder, according to Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald. He had been sidelined for two months with what was originally reported as shoulder discomfort. Devers made his major league debut this season, and over 21 games with Miami he slashed .244/.304/.317 with five RBI and seven runs scored. He's shown some decent speed potential in the minors, and is worth stashing in dynasty formats.
