Darrynton Evans Has Seen A “Big Workload” In Camp
3 years agoTennessee Titans running back Darrynton Evans has seen a big workload during training camp, per offensive coordinator Todd Downing. "Darrynton Evans has done a nice job with the wrinkles added in the offense." He was limited to five games in his rookie season due to a hamstring injury. The former third-round pick logged 14 carries for 54 yards while adding two catches for 27 yards and a touchdown in 2020. Derrick Henry will do most of the heavy lifting as the Titans' early-down back; Evans could have a vital role on third downs and as a matchup specialist. The 23-year-old is co-number two running back along with Brian Hill on the Titans' depth chart.
