Lucas Glover Trending in the Wrong Direction After Win
4 years agoLucas Glover broke through just a month ago at the John Deere Classic, but in his two following starts, he missed the cut and finished 57th. Glover's numbers were particularly concerning at the WGC- FedEx St. Jude's Classic. Normally a sound ball-striking, the former U.S. Open champion lost 4.9 strokes off the tee and 1.6 strokes on approach, good for his worst ball-striking week since the 2019 Tour Championship. Glover certainly got a giant monkey off his back by picking up his first win in a decade, so I would not be surprised if we saw a bit of an exhale from the Clemson University product down the stretch of the season.

Lucas Glover Seeking More Consistency At Cognizant
1 month agoLucas Glover has to wonder when time steps in. The American golfer, at 45, still produces some results that make bettors and DFS players swoon. However, he has missed two cuts in five appearances this season. Glover thrived at Pebble Beach with all four rounds under 70 (T-3rd). He went nearly ten years between wins but this version of Glover picks spots better. He has been very accurate with his driver in 2025 at 72.25% (ranks 4th on tour). It is partially why Glover is around +5500 currently. One slight concern is that Glover has only played the Cognizant once since COVID (T-35 in 2024). With Glover, the early holes will be telling.

Lucas Glover Looks To Build On Strong Pebble Beach Finish
2 months agoLucas Glover bounced back from a missed cut at the American Express with a T3 finish at Pebble Beach last week. He now looks ahead to the WM Phoenix Open, where he has competed 15 times, making the cut in 12 of those appearances but only cracking the top 20 twice. This course rewards strong driving, an area where Glover plays with precision, ranking 25th in total driving and eighth in driving accuracy. He also ranks 18th in strokes gained on approach and is in the 95th percentile for proximity to the hole from 150-200 yards, a distance that accounts for 42.6% of all approach shots at TPC Scottsdale. Given his solid track record and recent momentum, Glover is worth considering at his $7,400 price tag on DraftKings.

Lucas Glover In A Groove Ahead Of Bermuda Championship
5 months agoLucas Glover has been in top form so far in the Fall Swing. The 45-year-old Tour veteran has yet to finish outside of the top-25 in his four starts this season, impressively racking up finishes of T13, T3, T3 and T24 most recently at last week's WWT Championship. The current OWGR No. 48 should be in line for another strong finish at Port Royal, as he ranks sixth in overall approach, fifth in opportunities gained, 13th in birdie-or-better percentage, and ninth in strokes gained on easy courses over the last 36 rounds. He's also posted three consecutive top-25 finishes at this course. Although an inconsistent putter, he is prone to spike weeks, as evidenced by gaining 3.7 and 4.7 strokes on the greens in his first two Fall Swing starts. Fantasy managers should be excited by the upside of Glover at this week's Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

Lucas Glover Well-Rested Heading Into WWT Championship
5 months agoAfter consecutive top-three results, Lucas Glover decided to take a few weeks off. The American golfer had struggled over the summer months, where he missed the cut in five out of seven tournaments. Glover may be among the older active golfers but he can heat the greens up at times. He ranks 10th in driver accuracy at 68.9% and fifth in strokes gained while approaching greens (0.722). If his putter is hot, Glover has a chance in Baja. His birdie average of 3.96 ranks 74th, which is a little concerning as well. Which Glover we see is a great question. If he putts and approaches like he did in Utah, there is potential.
