3 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston turned in a strong performance during Monday's practice. Working with the first-string offense, Winston connected on 6 of 8 passing attempts, firing touchdowns to Deonte Harris and Marquez Callaway. It's been a tight quarterback competition in New Orleans, partly due to the Saints' limited receiver depth, though Monday marked perhaps one of Winston's best days- and one of Hill's shakiest. Preseason action will go a long way towards deciding who emerges as the Week 1 starter- though the former Buccaneer would seem to have the greater passing upside, having thrown for 5,109 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 30 interceptions as recently as 2019, leading to a QB4 fantasy finish. If anointed the starter, Winston would make for a solid, late-round choice in 2QB formats.--Tim Capurso
