Michael Brantley Removed As Precaution After Collision
3 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley (head) was removed from Sunday's game in the first inning as a precaution after being hit in the head in a collision at second base, according to Brian McTaggart of MLB.com. Brantley has been having a nice year at the plate so far, slashing .329/.381/.477 with seven home runs, 37 RBI and 53 runs scored over 89 games. Managers should consider him day-to-day for now, and check for further updates on his condition after the game.
