Rougned Odor Goes Yard Saturday
3 years agoNew York Yankees second baseman/third baseman Rougned Odor collected his 13th homer of the season in Saturday's win over the Mariners. Odor's homer was by no means a Statcast-friendly one, as he just squeaked a ball with a 31-degree launch angle over the right-field wall. It was a two-run jack for the Yankee infielder, who had gone 11 games without a long ball. Odor has been seeing a fair amount of time at third base- a new position for him- with Gio Urshela (hamstring) sidelined, a positive development for his fantasy value. Odor makes for an upside DFS play if in the lineup Sunday against lefty Yusei Kikuchi. The former Ranger has six homers and a .571 slugging percentage in 70 at-bats against lefties this season.
