Aaron Judge Hits 23rd Homer Saturday
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge went yard in Saturday's 5-4 victory over Seattle. Judge put the Yankees on the board in the first inning, sending a Chris Flexen curve 421 feet into left field to give his club a 1-0 lead. The blast left his bat at 107.5 MPH, one of three balls he hit 105 MPH or greater. The 28-year-old slugger seems to be trending upward after a brief power outage, as he now has two long balls in his last five games. Judge's quality of contact rates among baseball's best, as he ranks in the top-10 among all hitters in expected batting average, slugging percentage, and wOBA. Hitting in an improved Yankee lineup, Judge should finish the season strong so long as he stays healthy.
