3 years agoAric Almirola had so much bad luck in 2021 that a little good luck came his way three weeks ago at New Hampshire. He found a way into the lead and stayed there as the Stewart-Haas Racing driver dashed to his first win of the season. With that, he vaulted up to 23rd in the points standings. The question now is what can he do on a road course. He starts eighth this week and considers how low he started on the previous road tracks (26th three times and 19th). This makes the No. 10 a wildcard as no one really knows how his car will perform closer to the front at all.
