3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Kevin Gausman told reporters that he's expecting to go on paternity leave on Thursday. He and his wife are expecting their second daughter on Friday. The timing seems to be pretty ideal for Gausman, the Giants and his fantasy managers. Gausman pitched against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday, allowing just one run over six innings while striking out eight. His next start is currently scheduled for Tuesday, a rematch with the Diamondbacks. There's a good chance he'll go on paternity leave and then return to the club without missing a turn in the rotation.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
