Victor Hovland Will Be One To Watch at Memphis
3 years agoVictor Hovland sneaked into the top-15 during the Olympics with barely a peep. His final round 64 showed kind of what could have been. It included some great ball-striking and an eagle-birdie finish that no one duplicated. He has done well on WGC golf courses including a second at The Concession in February. The vital part of staying in contention was Hovland's ability to drain the par putts along with the birdies. He drives his woods and irons pretty darn well and ranks 9th in overall strokes gained from tee-to-green. Hovland will need that and the ability to hit some of these smaller than average greens on the weekend to have a chance at winning.
