Shane Lowry Ready for a Strong Performance in Memphis
3 years agoTPC Southwind is a really good course for Shane Lowry, and it should not come as a surprise that he finished sixth here last year. The Irishman is coming off a 22nd-place finish at the Olympics after a very disappointing Sunday 71. What was so fascinating about Lowry's Olympic performance was that he ranked towards the very bottom of the field in strokes gained off the tee, but towards the very top of the field in strokes gained approach. I like to embrace that type of volatility. Lowry has shown elite upside with his irons countless times, and he is by no means a poor driver of the ball. I'm willing to bet we see some positive regression with Lowry's off the tee game and he finds himself in the mix this week in Memphis.
