Cleveland Indians third baseman Jose Ramirez hit his 23rd homer of the season during a 5-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in extra innings. The 28-year-old took Blue Jays relief pitcher Brad Hand deep during the 10th inning and finished the night 2-for-5 with the homer and two RBI. The three-time All-Star is now hitting .255/.344/.525 with 64 RBI, 68 runs scored and 11 steals over 341 at-bats on the season. Ramirez is also sporting an 11.3% barrel rate, 90.9 mph average exit velo, and 46.1% hard hit rate, all career highs. Ramirez is in the prime of his career and is one of the best options at the hot corner in all of fantasy baseball.--Patrick Doris

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez (ankle) is back at third base and in the three-hole for Cleveland in Sunday's series finale on the road in Toronto against the Blue Jays and right-hander Bowden Francis. Ramirez is back in there following a one-game absence on Saturday after he sprained his ankle landing on a base in Friday's game at Rogers Centre. Fantasy managers will want to get the six-time All-Star and five-time Silver Slugger back in their lineups in all formats on Sunday. The 32-year-old Dominican switch-hitter has been good but not great so far in 2025, slashing .274/.323/.451 with a .774 OPS, five long balls, 15 RBI, 14 runs scored and eight stolen bases in his first 113 at-bats. J-Ram has only faced Francis two times in his career and has one hit and one RBI.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez (ankle) is not in Saturday's lineup when the Guardians continue a series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Ramirez suffered a right ankle sprain during Friday's contest against the Blue Jays and will be held out of action as a result. Fantasy managers should monitor his status leading up to Sunday's game. However, the team will likely opt to monitor his workload over the next week to ensure he does not face any setbacks. Through his first 31 games of the campaign, Ramirez has posted a .274/.323/.451 slash line with five doubles, five home runs, and eight stolen bases. Instead, Will Wilson will get the nod at the hot corner and bat eighth. He is not worth targeting in DFS facing Toronto right-hander Kevin Gausman.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez (ankle) was forced to exit early during Friday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. It appears Ramirez has suffered a mild right-ankle sprain while trying to beat out a single in the third inning. This probably isn't something that should land Ramirez on the injured list, so fantasy managers shouldn't need to panic. For now, Ramirez should be considered as day-to-day, but he could be placed on the shelf if it doesn't get better in a few days. Fantasy managers should expect Ramirez to probably sit out the rest of the weekend. Will Wilson took over at third base and might see more time over there the next few days.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez (leg) left Friday's game early in the third inning against the Toronto Blue Jays with an apparent right-leg injury after he went into the first-base bag awkwardly while trying to avoid a throw from right-hander Chris Bassitt. Before departing, J-Ram went 2-for-2 with a stolen base. Gabriel Arias shifted from second base to third base, while Daniel Schneemann entered the game to play second base for Cleveland. The good news is that the 32-year-old Ramirez walked off the field under his own power, but that doesn't mean it isn't a significant injury. Fantasy managers will want to check back for more information on Ramirez's status, but don't expect him to be in the lineup for Game 2 of the series on Saturday. If J-Ram's injury requires an injured-list stint, both Arias and Schneemann would become everyday players on the infield for the Guardians.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
