3 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff has earned early praise for his accuracy through the first few days of camp but also has shown indecisiveness. Goff was acquired in the offseason from the Rams and is trying to reinvigorate his career on a team that is rebuilding. He has been on target with his throws early on in training camp but clearly is trying to develop chemistry with so many new players. Goff was even quoted as saying, "Checkdowns are my friend." That is not exactly positive news for his fantasy prospects, as Goff's inconsistent deep ball is, perhaps, the central reason why he is no longer on the Rams. Goff will be on the fringes of fantasy starter material in standard formats at this time.--Joey C - RotoBaller
