We are down to the final week of the LEC summer split. With only 2 days left in the split, each win becomes increasingly important. 5 of the 6 spots are all but locked in, but there is a four-team race for the final spot.

- SK vs. Misfits (-285)
- XL (-125) vs. Astralis
- Vitality vs. Rogue (-285)
- Schalke vs. G2 (-325)
- Mad Lions (-120) vs. Fnatic
Captain/MVP
Vetheo - MSF: Vetheo leads Misfits in kill share and is second in kill participation. He also leads all mid laners in kills this split. His counterpart in Blue is statistically the worst mid laner in the league and Vetheo should be able to dominate this matchup.
Jankos– G2: Both Caps and Rekkles would be good options here as well, but Jankos comes in cheaper and has a great individual matchup against Kirei. Jankos should be able to find small advantages in the early game and transition that into successful ganks.
TOP
WhiteKnight- AST: Astralis is battling for the last playoff spot so every game is a must-win at this stage. They now get to face XL which is a huge game for both teams. WhiteKnight has a 70.6% kill participation and a 27.9% kill share for Astralis and is in a great spot going up against Kryze on this slate.
HiRit- MSF: HiRit has recently had some mediocre performances but has been one of the better top laners this split. The entire Misfits team has a great matchup against SK.

JUNGLE
Jankos – G2: If you haven't chosen Jankos in the captain slot, he is worth considering here
Razork – MSF: Razork is a great play in any Misfits stack as he carries an impressive 78.2% kill participation. His kill share isn't great which is what keeps him from being captain-worthy but he is still very capable of putting up big scores.
MID
Vetheo - MSF: Vetheo is a great play in the mid-lane if he isn't your captain.
Caps – G2: G2 should dominate this game as Schalke is barely treading water at the end of this split. Caps should find himself winning his lane with relative ease going up against Nuclearint. Caps has been playing well down the stretch and is one of the focal points of G2.
ADC
Rekkles - G2: Rekkles has a 34.5% kill share to go along with an 8.8 KDA. Rekkles is one of the safest plays on any slate as he rarely dies and is often winning his lane. G2's bot lane is so much better than Schalke's and it will likely be quite obvious during this game.
Hans Sama – RGE: Hans Sama is one of the best ADC in the league and is one of the key players for Rogue. Rogue likes to play through the bot lane and funnel resources into Hans Sama and let him carry team fights in the game's later stages. If Hans can get ahead early look for Rogue to enact that strategy and watch Hans Sama rack up the points throughout the game.
SUPPORT
Mikyx- G2: As mentioned with Rekkles, G2 bot lane are much better than Schalke so why not pair Mikyx with Rekkles. Mikyx has an 75% counter pick rate so the G2 support will likely find himself in an advantageous matchup.
Promisq– AST: Promisq is not a great support, but he comes in cheaply, and I think Astralis win this game. 10 plus assists are very possible in this matchup.
TEAM
G2: G2 is first in dragon control and third in baron control in the league. Schalke is dead last in both categories meaning G2 should have little trouble controlling the neutral objectives in this game and racking up the points in the team slot in what should be an easy win.
Misfits: Misfits are a better team than SK and have better dragon and baron control rates. They are one of the bigger favorites on the slate and should find themselves in the win category at the end of this game.
Final Thoughts
Misfits, G2, and Astralis are my three top choices on this slate. Rogue is very usable as well but hasn't made many of my lineups. Any Fnatic game features plenty of kills but if playing cash that game could go either way and you don't need to risk it. In Gpp's you will definitely want some exposure to that game. We are getting very close to the end of the split and the playoffs will feature plenty of great games.
