3 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Kyle Schwarber (hamstring) is drawing trade interest, despite being on the injured list, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network. Schwarber has been on the injured list since July 3 with a right hamstring strain but that hasn't stopped teams from inquiring about him. He was on fire at the plate before getting injured and has a rock-solid .253/.340/.570 batting line to go along with 25 home runs, 53 RBI, and 42 runs scored across 265 at-bats this season. Heyman added that he should return to action in a few weeks and that the Yankees "have always liked him."
