Anthony Rizzo Continues To Heat Up For Cubs
3 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo stayed warm with a 2-for-4 performance in Monday's contest versus the Cincinnati Reds. Rizzo drew a walk and also hit a big two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning off of Wade Miley. Rizzo has been finding his stroke over the last four games and has now hit a home run in consecutive games. Rizzo's main issue has been his history of back problems, but he remains a good contributor when healthy. The first baseman is a trade candidate with the deadline coming up, but he should continue to be productive on whatever team he is suiting up for. Rizzo is now hitting .248 with 13 home runs and 38 RBI.
