3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (pectoral) has been activated from the 60-day injured list The talented outfielder has been sidelined the entire season with a torn pectoral muscle that he suffered during Spring Training. Jimenez was expected to miss the entire season, but he has beat that timeline and should be a huge addition to both the White Sox and fantasy managers. Jimenez hit .289 during his rehab stint and also hit two home runs in 45 at-bats. Jimenez is one of the best young hitters in the league and offers massive power potential. Jimenez will be in the middle of a good White Sox offense and should be rostered in all formats. His return will mean less at-bats for outfielders Brian Goodwin and Adam Engel. To make room for Jimenez, the White Sox have optioned infielder Jake Burger to Triple-A Charlotte.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
