Corey Seager Likely To Go On Rehab Assignment
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said on Sunday that it's likely that shortstop Corey Seager (hand) will head out on a rehab assignment before returning to the active roster. Seager is currently at the Dodgers training facility center in Arizona and has continued to progress towards his return. Seager has been sidelined since May 16 with a fractured right hand. The Dodgers are without outfielders Mookie Betts (hip), Cody Bellinger (hamstring) and middle infielder Gavin Lux (hamstring) at the moment and can certainly use Seager's help at the moment. The upcoming free agent was hitting .265 with four home runs and 22 RBI in 147 at-bats before his injury.
