Jorge Polanco Collects Three Hits In Friday's Victory
3 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman/shortstop Jorge Polanco helped lead his club to a victory over the Angels with three hits Friday. Polanco rapped out a pair of singles and a double, scoring in the third inning following his two-bagger. The 28-year-old switch-hitter improved his overall line to .266/.329/.453 with 14 homers, 49 RBI, 54 runs scored, and nine stolen bases. Polanco's batted ball profile more closely resembles his 2019 standout season, as he's hitting more fly balls- and more of them are leaving the park, thanks to career-highs in barrel rate and hard-hit rate. Riding a five-game hitting streak with two long balls in that span, Polanco is as good a start as any middle infielder in fantasy right now.
