Kris Bryant Draws A Pair Of Walks In Return
3 years agoChicago Cubs infielder/outfielder Kris Bryant returned to the lineup on Friday versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. Bryant had been dealing with hamstring fatigue since Tuesday, but was ready for action this afternoon. Bryant went 0-for-2 at the plate with a run scored and two walks and was pulled to start the top of the seventh inning with the Cubs having a big lead. Bryant is an upcoming free agent and trade candidate and the Cubs are going to do everything they can to keep him healthy with the trade deadline around the corner. Bryant has slowed down since his hot start to the season, but he is still producing with a .262 batting average to go along with 16 home runs, 48 RBI and four stolen bases.
