D.J. Moore A WR2 Who Could Finish Among Top-12 Wideouts
3 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore could be poised for the best year of his young career entering his age-24 season. Moore has played three seasons in the NFL, averaging 126 targets, 76 catches, and 1,184 receiving yards over the last two years, as he has shown all the tools that made him a first-round pick back in 2018. The Maryland product ranked second in the league in percentage of his team's targeted air yards but posted the 14th-worst catch rate in the league and only scored four touchdowns last year. The arrival of Sam Darnold could bode well for his improvement in both of those areas, given that he has caught passes from Kyle Allen and Teddy Bridgewater for each of the last two seasons. Moore can be drafted at a WR2 price but has the upside to produce WR1 numbers in 2021.
