Max Kepler Homers For Second Consecutive Game
3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler belted a home run for the second straight contest in Wednesday's win over the White Sox. Kepler singled in his first at-bat, then later went yard, a 358-foot blast that left his bat at 97.6 MPH. The 28-year-old has tweaked something mechanically, leading to an increased launch angle and six home runs in July. Overall, Kepler is slashing .217/.306/.457 with 12 home runs, 37 RBI, 34 runs scored, and eight stolen bases in 221 at-bats. He should continue to be a solid third or fourth fantasy outfielder for the remainder of the season.
