Jorge Soler Homers In Second Straight Game
3 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. It was his second solo home run in as many days, marking the first time this year he's homered in back-to-back games. Soler has just nine home runs over 87 games on the year and he's slashing just .186/.279/.333. However, his underlying power metrics still look strong, particularly his 115.1 mph max exit velocity, which ranks in the 95th percentile. This could be the start of a home run surge for him. Fantasy managers in deep leagues and five-outfielder leagues looking for some power on the waiver wire should take a hard look at Soler.
