Jazz Chisholm Heading To Injured List With Shoulder Injury
3 years agoMiami Marlins second baseman Jazz Chisholm (shoulder) will be placed on the 10-day injured list on Monday, according to Craig Mish of the Miami Herald. Chisholm injured his shoulder while diving to make a play on Sunday, and he underwent an MRI on Monday to examine the injury. The extent of the injury is not known yet, but apparently it's enough to require a stint on the injured list. With Chisholm out, the Marlins will likely turn to Jon Berti or Joe Panik to man second base. Fantasy managers should keep an eye out for further updates later this afternoon on how long Chisholm may be out. He deserves to be stashed in most leagues after hitting .251 with 11 home runs, 34 RBI and 11 stolen bases on the season.
