Reynaldo Lopez Starting Game 2 Against Twins
3 years agoChicago White Sox right-hander Reynaldo Lopez will start Game 2 of a doubleheader against the Minnesota Twins on Monday. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect much out of Lopez in his first start of 2021. The 27-year-old was called up from Triple-A Charlotte over the weekend after he went 1-6 with a 7.62 ERA, 1.89 WHIP and 50/21 K/BB in 39 innings over 10 starts on the farm. In eight starts (26 1/3 frames) in the shortened 2020 season, Lopez had a 6.49 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 24/15 K/BB. He just has not been able to throw enough strikes at the major league or minor league levels of late to be very successful. Even if you're feeling lucky in DFS, Lopez is an extremely risky streamer on Monday and probably won't have a long leash.
