Paul DeJong Stays Hot With A Sunday Home Run
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong kept his hot streak going with a home run in Sunday's game against the San Francisco Giants. DeJong went 1-for-3 with the solo shot, scoring one run and driving himself in for one RBI. The Cardinals shortstop has been on a tear lately, slashing a ludicrous .455/.478/.909 over his past seven games and .356/.442/.667 over his past 15. He's been a streaky hitter throughout his career, so he's definitely worth a starting spot in all formats when he's going this well. Keep an eye on him though, as he'll get as cold as he is hot without much warning. For the season, he's batting .205 with a .708 OPS and 13 home runs.
