Jose Urena Exits Start Early Saturday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Jose Urena (groin) exited his start on Saturday due to right groin tightness, according to Jason Beck of MLB.com. Urena had been cruising through his first three innings of work, allowing just two hits and no runs while striking out two before he was replaced in the fourth by Daniel Norris. Managers should consider Urena day-to-day for now, although he wasn't providing much value anyway this season as he is 2-8 with a 6.43 ERA and 14 percent strikeout rate over 77 innings of work.
