Carlos Correa Back From The Injured List
3 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa was activated from the COVID-19 injured list on Friday. The team optioned infielder Taylor Jones to Triple-A Sugar Land in a corresponding move. Correa landed on the COVID-19 injured list a week ago but passed the necessary tests to return for the start of the second half of the season. Fantasy managers will be stoked to be able to put him right back into their lineups on Friday against Chicago White Sox right-hander Dylan Cease. Correa is having a career year, hitting .288/.385/.510 with 16 home runs, 61 runs scored and 52 RBI in 306 at-bats. It would be nice if the 26-year-old provided anything in the stolen base department, but those days are long gone.
