Julio Urias Now Starting On Friday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers left-hander Julio Urias, not Walker Buehler, will now start the first game of the second half of the season on Friday against the Colorado Rockies. Buehler was initially announced as the Dodgers pitcher to kick off the second half, but he and Urias have now swapped days. Lefty David Price will get the nod on Sunday. Both Urias and Buehler were great for fantasy managers in the first half and should be started to kick off the second half in redraft leagues. Urias, 24, had a league-high 11 wins while also posting a 3.64 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 119/23 K/BB in 106 1/3 innings over 18 starts. There's more risk with the game being in the thin air of Denver, but Urias did throw seven innings of one-run ball in Colorado in his season debut on April 4.
