Brendan Beck Could Be Close To Reaching The Majors
3 years agoNew York Yankees pitcher Brendan Beck could be close to reaching the majors, according to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com. The Yankee's second round pick in this year's draft, Beck is believed to not need much more development before he can reach New York, and just needs to build up his innings. Beck went 9-3 with a 3.15 ERA and 143 strikeouts in 108 2/3 innings of work at Stanford this year, and if he is close to the majors then he could be an interesting rookie to keep an eye on this year.
