Gary Woodland Presents a Nice Leverage Option
3 years agoWhile Gary Woodland is more-so thought of as a player who does his best work in U.S. Opens, his record at this tournament is not half bad. While he has never finished better than 12th, he has made the cut in seven of eight appearances at the Open Championship. Woodland has a low, piercing ball-flight, and he has experienced loads of success on windy golf courses such as PGA National and Pebble Beach. Woodland's skill-set should actually play quite nicely at Royal St. George's. The greatest concern with Woodland is the recent form. The University of Kansas product has missed the cut in two of his last three starts. With that being said, the ball-striking has remained solid. Fantasy managers can do worse than rostering Gary Woodland this week.
