Travis Fulgham Looking To Find That Spark Again
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Travis Fulgham will enter the 2021 season looking to recapture that spark that he found when he first began getting playing time with the Eagles. In Fulgham's first five games, he caught 29 passes for 435 yards and four touchdowns. He followed that up with just nine total catches in the eight games after that. It was a precipitous drop that was caused by a mix of injury and of teams "figuring him out". Fulgham knows he'll need to adapt and adjust in order to be successful in 2021, but it does appear that he will get the chance, as he's expected to open up training camp in three-wide sets along with rookie DeVonta Smith and sophomore Jalen Reagor. Fulgham's competition will be Greg Ward, John Hightower, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside. Fulgham has already shown to have the most upside of the four, but Ward has shown much more consistency.
