Mookie Betts To Sit Out Of All-Star Game
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts won't play in the All-Star game next week due to an undisclosed injury. It's nothing that fantasy managers should be worried about, but Betts just wants to rest up for what is hopefully a better second half. The 28-year-old underperformed by his standards in the first half with 12 home runs, 55 runs scored, 37 RBI, seven stolen bases and a .249/.360/.458 slash line in 301 at-bats for the Dodgers. As long as he stays healthy, expect better production in the second half of the season from the five-time All-Star.
