Returned to Triple-A, Kyle Muller Strikes Out 11
3 years agoAtlanta Braves prospect Kyle Muller was demoted back to Triple-A on July 4 but he wasn't moping about it on Friday. The 6-foot-7 left-hander was dominant with just two runs allowed on six hits in six innings of work. He struck out 11 batters and did not issue a free pass. Muller has appeared in four MLB games, including three starts. He has a 3.45 ERA with a K-BB of 20-8 and just nine hits allowed in 15 2/3 innings of work. At Triple-A, he has a 4.34 ERA with a K-BB ratio of 54-19 in 37 1/3 innings. Muller has seen his value spike this year due to a deeper repertoire, which includes a promising new slider. He's also shown improved command. He's a must-have hurler in redraft and dynasty formats. Muller will be back in the majors after the all-star break.
