Victor Robles Gets A Breather Friday
3 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Victor Robles is not in the starting lineup on Friday against the San Francisco Giants. Robles has been cold for most of the year so far, and he's been especially cold in the last 14 days -- .114 average, one home run and 12 strikeouts in 40 plate appearances -- so hopefully the routine day off will help him out heading into the All-Star break. The 24-year-old has just one homer and seven steals, and fantasy managers are losing patience after he broke out with a 17-homer, 28-steal season in 2019. Gerardo Parra draws into center field and will hit eighth on Friday against Giants right-hander Logan Webb. The veteran left-handed hitter has done very little in limited at-bats (29) and isn't a recommended DFS sleeper. Parra has just five hits, one home run and two RBI on the season. His only long ball of the year came back on June 28.
