Alex Kirilloff Absent From Thursday's Lineup
3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder/first baseman Alex Kirilloff is not in Thursday's lineup for the contest against the Detroit Tigers. Kirilloff will take a seat on the bench with left-hander Tarik Skubal on the mound. The 23-year-old has gotten off to a good start in July, batting .296 with a home run, three RBI, and four runs scored in 27 at-bats. Miguel Sano will get the start at first base and will bat sixth. Sano is batting just .200 but has clubbed 22 extra-base hits in 220 at-bats. He makes for an upside DFS play against Skubal, who has surrendered a 12.7 percent barrel rate and a 46.7 percent hard-hit rate this season.
