Daz Cameron Lands On The 10-Day Injured List
Daz Cameron (toe) was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday. He was scratched from Monday's game due to a right big toe sprain. The 24-year-old has struggled recently, hitting .091 (1-for-11) with five strikeouts and a stolen base over five games. Niko Goodrum was reinstated from the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Akil Baddoo and Goodrum should see an uptick in playing time while Cameron is sidelined. Baddoo is hitting .182 (4-for-22) in July but has racked up stolen bases over five games during the month. Goodrum has swiped 12 bags on the season, both are great options for fantasy managers looking for speed. Cameron can be dropped in all league formats.

Brewers Acquire Daz Cameron From Orioles
Daz Cameron and cash considerations from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for left-hander Grant Wolfram. Cameron will head to the National League Central after spending the 2024 season with the Athletics, slashing just .200/.258/.329 with five home runs, 15 RBI, five stolen bases and 22 runs scored in 66 games played. The 28-year-old son of former big-leaguer Mike Cameron started the 2025 season at Triple-A Norfolk and had gone 4-for-18 with a double, three RBI, two walks and six strikeouts in his first five games. Cameron will likely be assigned to Triple-A Norfolk after the trade to Milwaukee and serve as minor-league depth in the organization. In four big-league seasons, Cameron has a weak .201/.263/.330 slash line, .593 OPS, 10 homers, 39 RBI and 14 steals in 139 games played.

Orioles Designate Daz Cameron For Assignment
Daz Cameron for assignment. This transaction opened a roster spot for Roansy Contreras, who the team claimed off waivers from the New York Yankees earlier on Friday. Last season, Cameron logged 66 contests with the Oakland Athletics. During this stint, the 28-year-old posted a .200/.258/.329 line with five doubles, five home runs, and five stolen bases. Across 139 career games at the MLB level, Cameron has held a similar .201/.263/.330 line. Through 423 career games at Triple-A, the outfielder has posted a .250/.339/.427 slash line. Fantasy managers should expect Cameron to spend most of the 2025 season at the Triple-A level, given his lack of success in the major leagues.

Daz Cameron Returns To Baltimore
Daz Cameron was traded to the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday in exchange for cash considerations. The 27-year-old appeared in 66 games in Oakland last summer and held a .200/.258/.329 line with five home runs, 15 RBI, and five stolen bases. Cameron previously spent time in the Baltimore organization playing with Triple-A Norfolk during the 2023 season. With Norfolk, Cameron posted a .268/.364/.452 slash line with 16 home runs and 23 stolen bases. The 27-year-old will likely be in the mix for the a spot on the Opening Day Roster but will have few opportunities given how deep the current Baltimore outfield is, consisting of Colton Cowser, Cedric Mullins, and Anthony Santander.
