Trevor May With His Tenth Straight Scoreless Outing
3 years agoNew York Mets relief pitcher Trevor May worked around a hit pitching a scoreless eighth inning in the Mets 4-2 win over the Brewers on Monday. May picked up his seventh hold of the season in the outing, his tenth straight scoreless appearance. After a rough start to the season and a few rough appearances in early June, May has been locked in of late. He has lowered his ERA to 3.03 over 31 2/3 innings pitched on the season. May also owns a 1.20 WHIP to go with 42 strikeouts. May, along with Seth Lugo, is one of the primary setup men in the Mets bullpen to closer Edwin Diaz. As such, May should be rostered in all leagues that reward holds.
