Ronald Guzman Hopes To Return In Late September
3 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman Ronald Guzman (knee) said he has been off crutches for around three days and has started to do some walking exercises. Guzman is hoping to be back on the field by late September. The 26-year-old had surgery in April to fix a torn meniscus in his right knee. Fantasy managers in AL-only leagues have no reason to hang onto him, even if he does somehow make it back late in the year. Before his injury, Guzman had a home run in 16 at-bats over seven games for Texas. He hit just .244/.314/.436 with four home runs and nine RBI in 26 games during the shortened 2020 season. Continue to leave him to the waiver wire.
