Nelson Cruz, Josh Donaldson Out For Another Game
3 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz (neck) and third baseman Josh Donaldson (hamstring) remain out of the starting lineup on Monday against the Chicago White Sox. Cruz and Donaldson will both be missing their second straight game, but fantasy managers should continue to consider them day-to-day for now. Both players should be owned and started in all formats when healthy. Donaldson is a trade candidate this summer, but his long history with lower-body injuries could cause some teams to shy away. Miguel Sano is the designated hitter on Monday while hitting sixth, and Luis Arraez is at third base and batting leadoff against White Sox right-hander Dylan Cease. Sano has big-time power, but he swings and misses a ton. Arraez is hitting a nice .285 with a .357 on-base percentage, but even in the leadoff spot, he doesn't give DFS gamers much upside with just one home run in 200 at-bats.
