Carlos Carrasco To Potentially Return In Late July
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (hamstring) is expected to return in late July or early August, according to manager Luis Rojas. Carrasco is reportedly throwing his second full bullpen session on Saturday, after a successful bullpen session earlier this week. Carrasco hasn't pitched all season due to a hamstring strain and has had multiple setbacks which have pushed his timeline back. The 34-year-old right-hander posted a 2.91 ERA with 82 strikeouts over 12 starts in the shortened 2020 season for the Cleveland Indians. Assuming he suffers no further setbacks, fantasy managers may finally be able to add Carrasco to their starting pitching corps within the next four-to-five weeks.
