J.A. Happ Surrenders Five Earned Runs In Loss
3 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher J.A. Happ struggled in Friday's loss to the Kansas City Royals. Happ pitched just 4 1/3 innings, allowing six runs, five earned, on nine hits while walking one. He struck out four batters but generated just six whiffs. Happ navigated through the first inning without blemish but ran into trouble in the second and third frames, allowing five runs on six hits, including three for extra bases. The veteran southpaw's ERA jumped back up to 6.09, and he is firmly off the fantasy radar right now.
